Brierley, Collier & Hartley (BCH) high quality mixing vessel in polished food
grade stainless steel. 1500mm dia x 1500mm deep plus 700mm deep base.
Total volume approx 3000 litres, working capacity 1500 litres. Hemispherical
base section with stainless jacket rated for 80 psi design pressure, 155 psi
test pressure and 162°C design temp. Vessel rated for 20 psi design pressure,
31 psi test pressure & 128°C design temp. Side entry "Overmix" type scrape
surface agitator driven from a 5.5kw 415v motor via variable reduction gearbox,
speed range 3.5 - 20 rpm. Torque range 2232 - 3200 Nm. Top cover hinged
opening (powered) with counterbalance with swingbolt clamps. The top cover
incorporates 130mm dia sightglass with vessel light, 80mm dia central connection,
sprayball connections. There is a 300mm dia vapour extraction port on the side
wall. 100mm dia central bottom outlet with pneumatically operated valve. All
mounted onto three 150mm dia stainless legs. Overall height 3470mm. Full
feature stainless steel control panel configured to operate both vessels. Previously
used to make cereal and other food products.
