Using liquid / food normally pre-concentrated to reduce water content the product is transferred as a mist or fine spray into a chamber of heated air where upon contact a flash-off of moisture occurs.
Spray dryers provide better product quality from their moisture flash-off for use within the food, diary and confectionary industries. We have and can source conventional 2 stage dryers with rotary atomizer or spray nozzle atomizer, alternatively two stage and multiple stage spray driers for complex product handling are available.
Drum Dryers are also available which are usually manufactured from cast iron with combined endplates and trunnions, secured to the body by high tensile steel studs and nuts.
